Crossfire War: Tehran - Baghdad Expand Parliamentary Cooperation

Night Watch: BAGHDAD - In a further sign of Tehran bringing Baghdad into its sphere of influence Iran's Charge d'Affaires in Baghdad Hassan Kazemi Qomi met the Head of the Iraqi National Council Hajem al-Husseini to discuss an expansion of mutual relations and an upgrading of regional cooperation. Combined planning against the occupation, as the US/UK continue to protect the Baghdad government, was probably the basis for the discussion. [IRNA]
Hajem al-Husseini was also given an invitation to visit Tehran and meet the Speaker of Iran's Parliament, the Majlis Speaker Gholam Ali Hadded Adel.
