Voluptuous Femme: The New Style Source For The Full-Figured Fashion Love

Voluptuous Femme is a newsletter-style blog that acknowledges and caters to the curvaceous fashionista. Its mission is to fill the gap in style information/resources for full-figured women who love fashion and shopping.

Yolanda Keil began the Voluptuous Femme style blog in July 2005 to cater to a market segment often ignored in other magazines. Many magazines occasionally feature tips for full-figured women, but will cover only one sample full body type or figure concern. Similar to slimmer shapes, there are several different full-figure body types.

The voluptuous woman is actually today's average - she is the American norm. Over 60 percent of U.S. women are full-figured, wearing size 12 or larger. The full-figured industry has grown in sales over 30 percent while the overall apparel industry has dwindled.

Keil is a certified image consultant and a confessed shopaholic. She loves watching fashion shows and visualizing how she would style the runway outfits. Keil produces two free style blogs: Style Shopper and Voluptuous Femme.
