Cambodian Ventures Limited Provides Company Update

Cambodian Ventures Limited (OTC: CMBV), a junior mining company focused on exploration and mining of precious minerals in Cambodia released a company update today.

Gary Fineberg, CEO of Cambodian Ventures, stated today that the company is very excited about the US $1million funding commitment by Monterra Mining of Montreal. Mr. Fineberg stated that this commitment would allow the company to expand the scope of acquiring working interests in Cambodian precious mineral mines. The rainy season has prevented much activity in mining and that season is now coming to an end. The company is in negotiations with two different parties to acquire additional working interests in gold mines within the Kingdom of Cambodia. The company feels that its recent funding commitment will provide additional leverage in these negotiations.

The company is also considering commercial ventures outside of the mining sector that could be beneficial to economic development in Cambodia. The company has been presented proposals from companies wishing to do business in Cambodia and is considering partnering with companies that have products that have a strong potential market in Cambodia, can be profitable to the company, and build shareholder value. These sectors that the company is considering are biotechnology and medical services.
