Nepali Civilians Physically Assaulted by Indian Border Security Force

A report from Kathmandu, October 20, said that Nepali civilians were physically assaulted by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) personnel. [

The civilians of Duhabi VDC, Dhanusa were trying to enter into the Indian border when the security men stopped and beat them up.
The report said that milk vendors and other civilians were also assaulted in the last two days.
Jageshwor Pandit, Bechan Sahani, Mithilesh Mandal, Mohit Pandit are amongst those who were assaulted by the BSF personnel, said Dev Narayan Jha, a local leader. Locals are terrified by the radical behaviour of SSB personnel.
Security personnel posted in Dhanusha district however, expressed ignorance of the incident, according to the report.
