The LDS Music Festival And Expo Returns To Vegas

The LDS Music Festival & Expo will return to Las Vegas with three concerts and an all day business expo at the Cashman Center on Saturday, November 12, 2005. The Expo will open Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at 10:00 p.m. The Expo is free and open to the public. The Music Festival will showcase nine LDS artists in three concerts beginning at 2:00 p.m. and concluding at 9:00 p.m.
"This is our second festival and we are excited to expand on the successes of last year's event," said Khoren Ouzounian, one of the show's producers. "We owe a special thanks to the LDS families and institutions which make events like this possible."
Last year, Ensign Federal Credit Union sponsored the Festival and has decided to sponsor the event again this year. "Ensign FCU has a tradition of serving the needs of the LDS community in Las Vegas and appreciates the clean fun and wholesome entertainment provided by the LDS Music Festival," said Diane Whitaker, CEO.
"This year is an exciting year for Latter-day Saints in Las Vegas. It is not only the city's centennial, but it is also the 150th anniversary of the Old Mormon Fort, the Valley's first settlement," said Ouzounian. "In fact, we are holding the event in the shadow of the Fort."
Tickets for the concerts will go on sale beginning August 1, 2005 with discounted tickets being offered through Ensign Federal Credit Union. Tickets can be purchased for $10 (single concert) and $25 (all concerts) at www.TICKETWEB.com or by calling 1-888-222-6608. Discounted tickets will be sold at any Ensign FCU branch for a limited time and only while supplies last. Discounted prices are $7.50/$20.
The LDS Music Festival & Expo began as the LDS Marketing Group in 2003. Founded by Nephi S. Oliva, Khoren Ouzounian, Robert Suckoll and Adam Dawson, the event has become the largest popular LDS music production outside of Utah. Artists performing in last year's event included Kenneth Cope, Eclipse (2002 Winter Olympics) and Carmen Rasmussen (American Idol).
