First 100 Customers in Line at New Location Win Free Chick-fil-A for a Year
Chick-fil-A will open its
first free-standing
restaurant in Pinellas Park at 7020 US Hwy. 19N on Oct. 20, giving away a
year of free Chick-fil-A combo meals
to the first 100 adults in line.
While the restaurant will officially open for business at on Oct. 20,
Chick-fil-A will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Oct. 19 at 4:30 p.m.
when it will present a check for $1,000 to the local Salvation Army.
"It was inspiring to see the generosity of local residents give to the
recent boot drive sponsored by Tampa-St. Pete Chick-fil-A restaurants,"
said Gus Mir, who will operate the new Pinellas Park location. "At
Chick-fil-A, we are strongly encouraged to provide second mile service and
be involved in the community. What better way to enter Pinellas Park than
to show our support to the local efforts of raising funds for disaster
relief."
The Oct. 20 opening of the new Chick-fil-A restaurant will also include the
awarding of a free year supply of Chick-fil-A combo meals (52 coupons) to
each of the first 100 adults in line by 6 a.m. Those 18 years and older can
line up 24 hours in advance, with the year supplies being awarded on Oct.
20 sometime between 6 and 6:30 a.m.
Mir will become one of only a few Chick-fil-A operators selected as a
multi-unit operator. He will continue to operate the free-standing
Chick-fil-A restaurant at Feathersound along with the new restaurant in
Pinellas Park.
Chick-fil-A continues to expand in the Tampa-St. Pete market, with the new
Pinellas Park location being the sixth free-standing Chick-fil-A restaurant
to open in the area in the past two years. New locations are also planned
for Largo and St. Petersburg in the coming months.
The new restaurant is open Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. until 10
p.m. The breakfast menu includes the popular chicken biscuit along with an
expanded lineup which debuted in June featuring the quick-service
industry's first premium coffee blends, three custom-roasted Cafe Blends
Coffees, and its new Chick-fil-A Cinnamon Cluster, fresh-baked mini swirls
filled with sweet cinnamon served warm with a creamy vanilla icing.
Atlanta-based Chick-fil-A is the nation's second-largest quick-service
chicken restaurant chain with more than 1,225 restaurants in 38 states and
Washington D.C. The chain expects to build more than 77 locations this
year, including 60 free-standing units. For more information, visit
