AmeriCare Alliance's In-Home Care is a Compassionate, Affordable Option for Seniors

PORTLAND, Ore., Oct. 18, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- All across America, families are faced with the challenge of caring for elders and ailing loved ones. In today's 'hurry-up' society, the task seems daunting. "How do we keep Mom, Dad or Aunt Edna from being dumped in an old-age home?" This was the question that drove Tony and Vanessa Sturgeon to join forces with AmeriCare Alliance Inc, the nation's premier non-medical home care company.

AmeriCare Alliance provides families the option to keep loved ones at home while providing affordable non-medical care to seniors, new moms and those recovering from surgery. Patients who prefer to recover or remain in the comfort of familiar surroundings now have the ability to do so safely and with dignity. Most seniors and convalescents do not need full nursing care yet need help with such ordinary tasks as dressing, bathing, walking, shopping and figuring out how to program the DVD player.

AmeriCare Alliance offers a variety of tasks such as light housekeeping, meal prep, companionship, bathing, grooming, and daily living assistance. More affordable than nursing services, AmeriCare Alliance was started by people who saw the need for such services for seniors, especially elderly family members of the baby boomer generation. The Sturgeons wanted to be part of this explosive industry and committed to be the Area Developer for the State of Oregon for the national franchise. The first location in Oregon is in Lake Oswego/West Linn and the Sturgeons' are interviewing franchisees for units across the state. AmeriCare Alliance has set unprecedented financing terms for their Regional Director program which consists of multiple unit sales. Vanessa Sturgeon, owner of the AmeriCare Alliance franchise for the State of Oregon said, "The goal at AmeriCare Alliance is to provide assistance to those in need of an alternative to assisted living or respite care for those caring for a loved one with compassion and dignity."

AmeriCare Alliance plays a fundamental role in the easing of America's aging. Since the advent of Medicare, the cost of illness and aging has peaked to record high levels. AmeriCare Alliance speaks to the need of controlling costs as well as providing compassionate care to concerned families. It makes available a common-sense solution to elder care.
