Adventist Midwest Health Rejoins Private Healthcare Systems Network
Private Healthcare Systems (PHCS), the nation's
leading health care cost management company, announced today that Adventist
Midwest Health has rejoined the PHCS Network in Northeastern Illinois.
After an initial contract ended, both PHCS and Adventist Midwest Health
(AMH) determined that reestablishing their relationship was in the best
interest of the organizations and the community. As part of the PHCS
Network, AMH's facilities benefit from increased directed member traffic.
At the same time, the PHCS Network is enhanced by the participation of
AMH's hospitals and affiliates.

largest not-for-profit, Protestant health care organization. AMH has a
long-standing reputation for providing state-of-the-art technology,
comprehensive medical services and wellness programs to its patients. The
system encompasses several facilities and their ancillary services
throughout DuPage and Will counties, including:
-- Adventist Bolingbrook Medical Center
-- Adventist GlenOaks Hospital
-- Adventist Healthcare at Home
-- Adventist Hinsdale Hospital
-- Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital
-- Adventist St. Thomas Hospice
-- Chippewa Valley Hospital (Durand, WI)
-- Hinsdale Surgical Center
"Adventist Midwest Health is pleased that we have reached an agreement with
PHCS that will serve the needs of our members and our patients," said Ernie
Sadau, President and CEO of Adventist Midwest Health.
"We welcome AMH back to the PHCS Network," said Keith Vangeison, Executive
Vice President, Networks. "Through the participation of Adventist Midwest
Health, we are able to provide our customers and their members in
Northeastern Illinois with the most options for convenient, cost-effective
choices in health care."
