Blue Laser Design Launches Emergency Plan Websites

New website enables families to plan and organize information for an emergency situation.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (EWORLDWIRE) Oct 14, 2005

EmergencyPlanWebsites.com launched today, unveiling a variety of options for families wanting to prepare for emergency situations. The site serves people in two different ways: enabling families, communities and friends to take necessary emergency planning into their own hands, as well as setting up a secure personal site where each family can share information.

Each member group will have their own secure website that will feature a personal login, photo gallery, chat room, maps and directions finder, contact information page and a message board.

-The login area is a secure site that ensures that only group members can access the site.

-A photo gallery page gives group members the ability to easily share pictures with each other.

-The chat room function allows members to communicate live.

-Maps and driving directions can be accessed and posted for members to view.

-A contacts page is included for a listing of current phone numbers and addresses.

-The message board area can be used to post plans and messages to the entire group.

Emergency Plan Websites was created and developed by Blue Laser Design, a design firm based in Columbus, Ohio, in reaction to the tragedy of hurricane Katrina.

"I just felt that people needed a way to organize their families in case of an emergency," said Will Guthrie, owner and director of operations of Blue Laser Design, "hopefully this will be a tool to help avoid the future tragedies."
