Nicole Richie was voted September Beauty Icon of the month in a visitor survey conducted by BeautyRiot.com (www.beautyriot.com). "The Simple Life" star, who is due to release her debut music album this year, is popular among online women for her individual style and chic hairdo. Richie's photo gallery is consistently among the top ten most-viewed galleries at BeautyRiot.com.

The soon-to-be Mrs. DJ AM placed first in a contest against "Into the Blue" star Jessica Alba, and "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" co-star Angelina Jolie. Ms. Richie's sleek, casual, shoulder-length bob hairstyle was #10 out of the top 100 most-viewed hairstyles at BeautyRiot.com in September. Her popularity is expected to grow even more when her film debut, "Kids in America," opens in theaters October 21.
