Wavecom and Airbiquity sign co-marketing agreement
Joint marketing efforts will initially focus on automotive applications

Airbiquity has developed and marketed specialized software for telematics to the U.S. automotive industry using wireless communication especially for security and safety features. They have now joined with Wavecom, a recognized leader in wireless communication to the automotive industry in Europe, to co-market a number of products and services in both the North American and European regions. The joint marketing agreement acknowledges Airbiquity's expertise in developing patented software that enables real-time data transmissions via wireless voice channels and, together with Wavecom's Open AT® software development environment both companies will be able to quickly expand their offers in the area of automobile telematics. Moving forward, both companies will market each others products and services.
