Leisure Direct, Inc. Hires Chief Executive Officer, Chief Marketing Officer

John Ayling, chairman of Leisure Direct, Inc. (LDTI), today announced the hiring of two executives.

Jeffrey Dale Welsh joins the company as chief executive officer and Carolyn Dixon as chief marketing officer. These two seasoned executives will focus on implementing Leisure Direct's business plan, which calls for the rapid acquisition and consolidation of manufacturers and resellers of pool, spa and backyard recreation equipment.

CEO Jeffrey Welsh, a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, has more than 25 years of experience leading businesses through transition and rapid growth. He started his career as an officer in the United States Navy, and then practiced law on Wall Street before opening an investment banking and turnaround management firm.

Newhouse School of Public Communications.
