Paul Lefurgey Joins Madison Investment Advisors as Senior Portfolio Manager

We are pleased to announce that Paul Lefurgey, CFA, will be joining Madison Investment Advisors today as a Senior Portfolio Manager. Previously, Paul spent thirteen years at Duff & Phelps Investment Management in Chicago, ultimately running their Fixed Income Group. For the last two years he has been Head of Fixed Income at Members Capital Advisors, CUNA Mutual's money management subsidiary. Paul brings with him a high level of expertise in yield curve positioning, sector analysis and duration management.

This continues Madison's pattern of investing in the future of our firm by adding important depth to our various analytical teams as well as the Client Relations and Marketing groups. As a firm, we have enjoyed substantial growth in our fixed income assets over the years, and Madison's overall assets under management, including subsidiaries, have increased five-fold in the last decade to approximately $12 billion today. More recently, we've strengthened our fixed income team, headed by Chris Berberet, by adding Allen Olson, a key credit analyst, in 2003. In 2004, Greg Poplett joined us from Voyageur Asset Management as a senior fixed income portfolio manager and analyst. We are extremely pleased to have created a well-rounded, highly dedicated team of seasoned professionals to meet the ongoing challenges and complexities of the fixed income markets.
