RoommateClick.com Becomes the First Roommate Site to Promote Safe Matching

RoommateClick.com, a subsidiary of MoveOnIn.com, announced today it has forged a strategic alliance with Verified Person Inc., becoming the first roommate portal to offer self-initiated background checks. Under the terms of the agreement, Verified Person will provide the RoommateClick network with a suite of identity verification services. Verified Person's background check solution, VPid, is a proprietary process that instantaneously authenticates a user's identity. Other services offered through the relationship will include public and criminal record searches.
