The Interlace Dynamic Planning solution enables organizations to make more confident operational planning decisions that significantly improve business performance. Now, executives and planners can use a simple Excel front-end to model complex business problems using the Interlace server that automates the collection and consolidation of data stored in multiple disconnected systems. The solution is used to support a variety of critical operational planning processes such as consensus demand plan creation and management, material component exposure and liability estimation, and sales and operations planning. The "Powered by SAP NetWeaver" certification signifies the company's commitment to the support of SAP solutions and the Enterprise Service Architecture blueprint based on SAP NetWeaver.

Interlace has optimized its solution for the SAP NetWeaver open integration and application platform and has developed SAP solution-specific capabilities to achieve the "Powered by SAP NetWeaver" certification. Specifically, the Interlace Dynamic Operational Planner 2.5 solution can now be deployed on the SAP Web Application Server (SAP Web AS) Release 6.40 component of SAP NetWeaver. In addition, the Interlace solution can now be integrated with other applications within the SAP Enterprise Portal. Critical information from the Interlace solution is securely accessed using the iView software feature within the SAP Enterprise Portal.

With the Interlace solution, users are able to more easily leverage data resident in various SAP solutions such as the SAP Business Information Warehouse (SAP BW), mySAP(TM) ERP and mySAP Supply Chain Management (mySAP SCM) solutions to perform rapid, "what-if" planning simulations, dynamic plan-change management, cross-functional impact assessment, and integrated financial analysis -- all through an easy-to-use Excel front-end. Users of the Interlace solution have realized significant improvements in forecast accuracy, inventory utilization, order fulfillment performance and operating costs.
