Ikona Gear International Appoints New Director of Manufacturing
Ikona Gear International, Inc. (OTC BB: IKGI), a leader in innovative gearing systems technology, today announced
that it has appointed industry veteran George Stefan to the newly created
position of Director of Manufacturing.

Reporting directly to Nosh, Stefan will be tasked with leading the
company's foray into gearing systems technology manufacturing, spearheading
the company's ISO 9000 certification initiative, managing all external
client projects, and leading internal design and development teams on
specific projects and prototypes.

Mr. Stefan is an engineering, project management and operations management
professional with more than 15-years experience in the design, development,
and management of new products and new operational processes with
applications in the oil and gas, marine, heavy machinery, and boating
industries.
Prior to joining Ikona, Mr. Stefan held Senior Program Manager, Project
Engineer and operations management positions with Pacific Rim Engineered
Products, WestBay Sonship Yachts, Bel-Air Enterprises, and the Romanian
Navy. He has led ISO 9001 quality programs and managed development
programs for high performance products for leading industrial companies
including Caterpillar, Inc. and Nabors, Inc.
Stefan has an MBA, as well as Master's Certificate in Project Management
from City University in Vancouver, Canada. He also has a Bachelor of
Science Degree in Engineering, with a focus on electro-mechanical systems
and operations management in Romania. Stefan is a registered Project
Management Professional (PMP®), a member of the Project Management
Institute, the Society of Project Management Professionals of Greater
Vancouver, and the Society of Internationally Trained Engineers of British
Columbia.
