Rovion Teams Up With Phoenix Suns to Bring Lifelike Streaming Video Messages to Suns.com

NBA Website Engages Visitors With Innovative BlueStream(TM) Video Greeting

Rovion Inc., the leading creator of online video spokespersons, has teamed-up with the Phoenix Suns to provide streaming video greetings using its proprietary BlueStream(TM) Technology on the team's official website, www.suns.com.

For the month of September, a lifelike video greeting is appearing on the Suns' site, featuring NBA Coach of the Year Mike D'Antoni welcoming fans to a new season, while promoting the team's 11-Game Ticket Packages currently on sale.

"Rovion is thrilled to be working with the Suns and enabling them to create a compelling, personalized video message from coach D'Antoni," notes Rovion CEO Len Ostroff. "Our proprietary BlueStream(TM) technology allows a web site to place a video of a person in front of all of the other content on the webpage, outside of the four walls of a traditional video player. This 3D-like user experience results in the visitor feeling as if the person is speaking directly to them."

Rovion's BlueStream Direct(TM) product is a proprietary technology offered to websites as a fully hosted solution for 'web guides,' promotions, direct response, advertising, eLearning and a host of other uses. BlueStream(TM) operates much like the "bluescreen" technology used for special effects in both motion pictures and television, including virtually every TV weathercast in the US. BlueStream brings the magical sensation of these "impossible" images to the Web, creating the impression of living video characters inside of the visitor's computer screen.

"We're really excited to be utilizing this innovative technology on our site," says Suns President and COO Rick Welts. "This allows us to engage our fans in a way that is more interactive and appealing than traditional online advertising."

Simplicity is a key factor in BlueStream's successful penetration of the market. It only requires the website owner to add one line of JavaScript to his/her web page. Rovion provides everything else to enable a lifelike video overlay of a human being speaking to the website audience. For a visitor to a BlueStream(TM)-enabled site, the videos appear seamlessly and politely load in the background. BlueStream(TM) works with all standard operating systems and browsers.

Results show that sites employing BlueStream(TM) have been able to retain more visitors, keep them on the site longer, drive click-throughs, increase sales and encourage them to fill out forms or order products on the site more readily.
