Crossfire War: Nepal - Communists Expanding into Nepal and Bangladesh

Night Watch: KATHMANDU - A contact in Nepal has just informed me that communists are expanding rapidly into Nepal and now in Bangladesh.
They are spreading fast westwards from the Indian state of West Bengal and from China. The contact added that these are hard core Maoists and that she is worried.
It seems that both India and China are competing for influence in the region.
In Bangladesh they have a growing Islamic awareness to contend with but in Nepal you have a monarch that is desperately attempting stabilize a deteriorating situation that may be descending into chaos.
