Joint raid in Baqubah nets two detainees, weapons

TIKRIT, Iraq – Task Force Liberty and Iraqi Army Soldiers detained two individuals and seized a number of weapons during a joint raid in Baqubah at 5 a.m. Sept. 17.

The weapons cache included one sniper rifle with a scope, one PKC machine gun and several assault rifles.

The detainees were taken to a Coalition base for questioning.
