Iraq: Central-South troops seize weapons and ammunition

The ongoing destruction of insurgent forces and supplies continued yesterday with Iraqi and coalition forces capturing a large small-arms weapons cache.

Camp Echo, Iraq reported that Iraqi security forces backed up by Multi-National Division Central-South units seized a weapons cache in Wasit province.

The cache contained 22 machine guns, more than 1,000 rounds of ammunition, magazines, and other military equipment.
