Crossfire War: Moscow - Defense Enterprises Make Foreign Procurement Arrangement
By Willard Payne
Russian Defense Enterprises are Now Permitted to Make Direct Procurement Arrangements with Foreign Partners.
Night Watch: SOCHI - In a serious attempt to improve its readiness, Moscow has now permitted 21-defense sector enterprises to conduct commercial activities outside Russia. [EINNews]
Presidential aide, Sergei Prikhodko was quoted, "The defense sector will be liberalized to a certain extent and some businesses will have the opportunity to enter the international markets of spares, modernized military equipment and technical documents independently."
This is what I have been advocating for years, that industry in the West, especially the U. S. and Germany help equip Russia’s military in order for Moscow to confront Iran in the Caucasus and Caspian Sea region.
