Small Business Technology Institute Honoring LA's Top Women Entrepreneurs at SheBusiness Launch on Sept. 7
SBTI, Intel(R) and SBA Join Forces to Support Successful Women-Owned eBusinesses
The Small Business Technology Institute
(SBTI), a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering technology
education and adoption among small businesses, will join Intel® and the
SBA in honoring women entrepreneurs from the greater Los Angeles area at
the September 7th launch of SheBusiness. The SheBusiness scholarship
program combines technology classes, consulting and support services to
facilitate the growth of women-owned eBusinesses. SheBusiness is sponsored
by Intel®, a world leader in technology that began as a small business in
1968.
Los Angeles SBA District Director Alberto G. Alvarado will share remarks at
the event about Intel's generous promotion of women entrepreneurship:
"This is a brilliant demonstration of how Intel has not forgotten its
entrepreneurial roots and the SBA-backed Small Business Investment funds
that helped catapult it to the forefront of the hi-tech revolution. Today,
leveraging its role at the forefront of our economy as one of the world's

and offers them the baton of cutting edge success through technology."
Intel's Strategic Alliance Manager Susan Martinez and SBTI CEO Andrea Peiro
will join Mr. Alvarado as featured ceremony speakers.

Registration: Small businesses can apply for SheBusiness and pre-register
online through 12:00 p.m. PT September 7 at
http://www.sbtechnologyinstitute.org/shebusiness. Women who are
pre-registered will be entered for a chance to win a laptop computer. Must
be present to win.

The first SheBusiness course on "eBusiness Fundamentals" will commence
immediately following the kickoff ceremony.
