New Nationwide Men's Basketball League Promises to Keep Athletes Playing Sports in Denver
Keep Playing Sports, the leader in competitive
sports leagues (www.keepplayingsports.com), today announced the official
Denver schedule for the 2005 Men's Basketball League. Designed to give
top-notch basketball players the chance to scratch that competitive itch
once again, KPS's goal is to give back to athletes the feeling of highly
competitive basketball from their former college or high school playing
days. Keep Playing Sports provides non-professional, competitive athletes
with the means necessary to play and compete against other players in
different locations, venues and cities.
The inaugural season kicks off September 11, 2005 in eight regions across
the country, including Dallas/Ft. Worth, Seattle, San Jose, San Diego,
Sacramento, Denver, Atlanta, and Des Moines. Winners in each region will be
awarded airfare and hotel accommodations to Las Vegas to compete in the
national championship playoffs December 16-18, 2005 for a grand prize of
$4000. Nearly $30,000 in total awards, trophies, travel and cash prizes
will be awarded.
Games in Denver will be played at Colorado Athletic Club, Aurora and will
be officiated by certified referees. Separating itself from local
recreation leagues will be the addition of official stat keepers. Full,
detailed statistics will be viewable to your fans at
www.keepplayingsports.com giving them the ability to track a player or
team's season. You'll never know who's watching, as stats will also be
accessible to overseas and professional league scouts.
