Crossfire War: American Interference in Lebanon’s Internal Affairs Condemned

By Willard Payne

Night Watch: SIDON -In a sign of growing unity within Lebanon, in opposition to the U. S., American interference in Lebanon’s internal affairs was condemned in a meeting in the southern Lebanon city of Sidon.

They accused the U. S. of attempting to incite sedition among the Lebanese. This was written under the guidance of Tehran. Ever since they had Hariri removed Tehran has shown its support for every Lebanese political party. Tehran even received Druze leader Walid Jumblatt.

A call for the Lebanese to unify their ranks was made by, Lebanon’s Grand Mufti Sheikh Mohammad Rashid Qabani and Deputy Chairman of the Islamic Shia Council Abdel Amir Qabalan. This is in preparation to welcome Iran’s deployment of its brigade size Rapid Deployment Force into southern Lebanon. They are Iran’s symbolic gesture of military support for Lebanon and Palestinian people in the next war with Israel.

Tehran has been encouraging militant groups around Israel to increase attacks to force Israel to respond massively. That will enable the Council of Guardians to portray Israel as the aggressor.
