Task Force Liberty Soldiers and Iraqi Police capture terrorist

TIKRIT, Iraq – Task Force Liberty Soldiers and Iraqi Police captured a terrorist after responding to an explosion at a house in Kirkuk Aug. 27.

The explosion killed one terrorist and wounded another.

The Soldiers and Police found three IEDs and bomb-making materials, including four shaped charges and a duffel bag of plastic explosives.

The house was evacuated and explosive ordnance personnel destroyed the IEDs and explosives.
