Hertz Equipment Rental to Open Renovated Facility in Dallas, TX

Hertz Equipment Rental Corporation (NASDAQ: HERC), a leading construction and industrial equipment rental company, will celebrate the grand re-opening of its renovated general rental facility in Dallas, TX, on August 26, 2005. The grand re-opening celebration will take place at the store between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. and will showcase the facility's new showroom and newly expanded product line, which includes small tools, equipment and contractors' supplies.

As part of Hertz's commitment to expand services available for small to medium-sized contractors and homeowners, a broad range of products is now being offered, such as lawn mowers, floor sanders and buffers, trenchers, paint sprayers, ladders, pumps and scaffolding. In addition to the newly expanded product line, HERC Dallas still offers customers a wide assortment of construction and industrial equipment from brand names such as Case, Genie, Ingersoll-Rand, JLG, John Deere, MultiQuip and Stihl. The renovated Dallas facility also now offers a drive thru rental counter for fast and easy processing of rental equipment.

At the grand re-opening event, vendor demonstrations and literature will be available, lunch will be catered by Dickey's Barbeque Pit and door prizes will be provided on-site. The event will also feature a "Red Tag Sale," which offers discounted prices on used equipment. In addition to HERC management, members of the Dallas Chamber of Commerce will be in attendance. The BaD Radio Roadshow will broadcast live from 12 noon to 3 p.m.
