Sacramento Bee Editorial off the rails
By Alan Gray, NewsBlaze
The Sacramento Bee engaged in some strange humour in its Thursday editorial page.
The Bee decided to move into screenplay writing, attacking Governor Arnold Schwartzenegger in a strange display of bias mixed with humour.
The editorial suggested Schwartzenegger was "desperate" to boost his popularity and bypass a possible sex scandal. The editor posits the governor only promoted a new public safety law to take the pressure off himself, then says it won't release the pressure. Obviously, the governor and his advisors are buffoons who can't think ahead.
It isn't likely this screenplay will be picked up by Hollywood. The editor needs to look for another line of work.
Perhaps it was a slow news day or the editor was on vacation and they pulled someone off the street to fill in. Hopefully, the real editor will be back in the seat tomorrow and the Bee editorials will get back to reality.
