Fuse Hires Event Marketing Group Director and Expands Marketing Expert Team

Growing Agency Helps Clients Reach Youth Market

Fuse, a youth marketing agency, announced today that Clarke Colon has been hired as Event Marketing Group Director. His role will be to consult with clients to help brands create a unique connection with consumers at events and run event-related activities for Fuse's clients. Colon will be responsible for all group-specific programs including sponsorship management, turn-key event management, experiential marketing, buzz marketing, mobile marketing, product sampling and street team programs.

Prior to joining Fuse, Colon worked as the Director of Operations for ignition, Inc. During his tenure with ignition, he became a Torch Relay Veteran, planning, developing and implementing the 2002 Salt Lake City and 2004 Athens Olympic Torch Relays for The Coca-Cola Company. Prior to his work at ignition, Colon spent more than 10 years managing recreational ski and action park facilities and programs.

In addition to hiring an Event Marketing Group Director, Fuse hired Kevin Duggan as Event Marketing Group Manager, to manage street team programs for a TAG Body Spray project spanning 10 markets and 400 events across the country. His main focus for the project will be consumer sampling and building brand awareness. Previously, Duggan was an event/program manager at SoBe Beverages, a division of PepsiCo, where he was responsible for the development and execution of marketing and event objectives.
