KACE Adds to World-Class Management Team

Industry Veteran Baker Named VP Marketing for Leader in IT Automation

KACE(TM), Rethinking IT by delivering simple, affordable IT automation solutions that really work, today announced the appointment of Sheila Baker as Vice President of Marketing. Baker will report to Rob Meinhardt, Co-founder and CEO of KACE, and will be responsible for all KACE marketing activities.

Baker is a highly experienced marketing, sales, and engineering executive with proven results at leading open-source and technology companies such as VA Software MontaVista Software, The Santa Cruz Operation, Hewlett-Packard/Apollo Computer and Raytheon. She joins KACE from VA Software, where she served as Senior Vice President, Marketing, and drove marketing for SourceForge Enterprise Edition. Prior to VA Software, Baker spent three years at MontaVista Software, serving as Vice President, Marketing, where she was instrumental in company positioning, product marketing, and creating partner programs that enabled MontaVista to achieve a leadership position in the embedded Linux market.

Baker holds a BS in Computer Science and Economics from the State University of New York at Albany, and an MS in Management from Northeastern University.
