Marine Advocacy Council Takes Marine Industry To New Dimensions
Rod Serling returns in navigating portal
TAMPA, Fla. (EWORLDWIRE) Aug 16, 2005
The Marine Advocacy Council, Inc.(MAC) today announced its unofficial release of the, Navigating Zone in a press conference today at the, Grand Hyatt in New York. NavigatingZone.org is designed for consumer members of the MAC to reach hundreds of high quality services and products via one Internet site. "When completed, we will have covered everything from an 18 foot fishing boat to a chalet in Switzerland says," Phil Saadi, MAC spokesman.
The Navigating Zone is part of a leading network linking boat buying/selling consumers to specific services such as advocacy tools, national/international real estate, boats, family boats, fishing boats, sailing boats, ski boats, charters, yachts, high fashion, art, jewelry and world-class investments.
Users will notice the NavigatingZone.org hints of Rod Serling and his famed series Twilight Zone. Designed with the Rod Serling Foundation, the Navigating Zone is working to help keep his memory alive and promote the issuance of Serlings' Postal Stamp.
Within Navigating Zone the memory of Serling lives again. Serling's voice became instantly recognizable to baby- boomers familiar with his Twilight Zone series, narrating the Jacques Cousteau specials on marine life and voiceovers commercials.
Serlings short but illustrious career in television netted him six Emmys and a position as President of the Television Academy. Actor, Richard Kiley summed Serling up best when he said, "he was a realist in the dream world and a dreamer in the real world."
"Rod Serling was obsessed with the phenomenon of time. Ironically, it is the phenomenon of time which obsesses most consumers today," says Saadi. "The Navigating Zone and all MAC services are designed to save time, aggravation and money with access to high quality services. The whole theme is a great fit. The NavigatingZone.org is a portal to new dimensions of services within the marine, real estate and investment industries for the consumer- Marine Advocacy Council Network is that new dimension."
Many MLS services for boats and yachts are riddled with duplicate and outdated listings that can make boat searching online a daunting and time consuming task. The Navigating Zone is a portal to "screened clean" databases that don't allow duplicate listings. Also, most MAC sites have expiration dates so consumers aren't calling on boats, yachts or houses sold seven months ago.
"This is the new millennium," says Saadi. "We are providing a new dimension of fresh and functional services saving the consumer time and money; the Navigating Zone.org is the portal to finding them all."
The MAC is planning an official launch of The Navigating Zone in, November with the introduction of several state-of-the-art network services and websites for consumers.
