PCS Edventures! Announces Discussions With Ministry of Education in Egypt and the World Bank

PCS Edventures! (OTC BB: PCSV) today announced it
is having material discussions with the Ministry of Education in Egypt for
a countrywide early childhood education project. The project, jointly
funded by the World Bank and the Egyptian MOE, will introduce significant
changes in the Egyptian school system and will significantly expand and
enhance access, quality, and teaching methodologies.
Robert O. Grover, PCS Executive Vice President and CTO, said, "While we are
not at liberty to disclose the complete details of these discussions, the
managing director of our joint venture based in Cairo has assured us that
PCS has been chosen as the primary source for curriculum and teacher
training in this program. The PCS Young Learner program, an innovative
approach to integrating manipulatives with early childhood education, will
be combined with the core early childhood curriculum provided by
Foundations, Inc. to create a powerful, research-based, highly effective
program for young learners in the Egyptian school system."
Joe Egusquiza, PCS International Sales Manager, said, "PCS Middle East
Managing Director, Mr. Mohammed Yasser Refai, has indicated that solid
progress is being made on finalizing this project. PCS is delighted with
the progress of its joint venture and looks forward to the successful
conclusion of the discussions and the beginning of the implementation
phase." The complete implementation of the program involves thousands of
school sites, both existing and planned new construction, and initial
deployment and training phases are expected to begin within the calendar
year.
