MedSeek Partners With Private Health News to Offer Hospitals Value-Added E-Marketing Tools to Enhance Patient Acquisition & Retention

  Share With Friends

MedSeek, a leading e-healthcare company, announced today a partnership with Private Health News (PHN) to offer a turnkey private label, e-marketing solution for hospitals across the country. Programs are designed to create ongoing, targeted relationships and to promote hospital programs and services to consumers based on their specific healthcare interests.

PHNs' administration tool is integrated into MedSeek's Sitemaker Content Management Solution (CMS). Services can be easily added to a hospital's website without any site redesign or programming. This value-added option creates links to a hospital's website and provides a unique mechanism to obtain a permission-based, targeted database of consumers tied to specific health conditions, which facilitates proactive care management and the ability for the hospitals to continually communicate with patients.

MedSeek's hospital customers can select from the following e-marketing offerings:

-- My Health Newsletter - Consumers receive a customized monthly e-health
newsletter designed around the topics they select. Each topic has up to
three recent peer reviewed articles, pulled from over 350 publications and
journals. Hospitals can easily add their own articles and customization to
direct consumers to their programs and services based on their healthcare
    interests.

-- My Health Reminders - Positions hospitals to help consumers take care
of themselves and their loved ones by reminding them of key preventative
screenings and other periodic exams. Reminders are e-mailed and can be
customized to promote the hospital's programs, services, and physicians.

-- My Baby Expectations - Monthly e-newsletters "Preparing Your Home for
Your Baby," and "Baby's First Year" help expectant parents to prepare to
care for their baby. They can be customized to promote the hospital's
    programs, services and physicians.

-- My Health Links - Provides a list of best ranked health-related
websites. This positions the hospital as a portal for information on
healthcare and generates traffic to their website.

-- Easy Mail - A powerful CRM tool, Easy Mail's targeted e-mails can be
sent anytime, informing consumers about special programs based on their
    health interests and/or other demographics.

"Our goal is to facilitate online communication and to provide hospitals with the latest tools to increase access to patients and reduce their workload," explains Gale Wilson-Steele, CEO of MedSeek. "Private Health News' online marketing programs will help our hospitals provide their customers with access to news from numerous content sources based on their unique preferences as well as provide an ongoing vehicle to reach consumers online."

According to Private Health News President, Daniel Ansel, "We are honored to partner with MedSeek, the cutting-edge content management software provider to hospitals, to align our award-winning e-marketing services and enhance MedSeek's solutions, particularly as the market evolves to a growing reliance on patient portals."

MedSeek clients will receive preferential pricing for Private Health News, which includes a Spanish version.
