Mandalas, Masks, Music, and Milagros: Using the Arts for Healing & Growth

The value of imaginative self-expression will
be the theme of "The Transformational Palette," the 24th annual
Transformation & Healing Conference, to be held by Southwestern College in
Santa Fe, NM, August 24-28, 2005. Counselors, art therapists and creative
spirits are invited to choose from 21 experiential workshops given by local
practitioners and
nationally known art therapists Bruce and Catherine Moon. No art experience
required.
Morning workshops will run from 9 am to noon Wednesday-Sunday; afternoons
from 2 to 5 pm
Wednesday-Saturday. Southwestern's 2005 Alumni Reunion will follow the
conference on Sunday evening. More details and a registration form can be

Weekday events are at Southwestern College, 3960 San Felipe Road, Santa Fe;
weekend events with Bruce and Catherine Moon will take place at the
Immaculate Heart of Mary Retreat Center, 50 Mt. Carmel Road. Continuing
Education Units (CEUs) are available for counselors and therapists. Space
is limited; a few press passes are available. Costs run from $35 per
workshop to $285 for the full conference.
