Women Want Jessica Alba's Hairstyle More Than Any Other Celebrity
"Fantastic Four" Star Is #1 Beauty Icon According to BeautyRiot.com July User Statistics

Women want Jessica Alba's hairstyle more
than any other celebrity's, according to July user statistics from
BeautyRiot.com (www.beautyriot.com). Jessica Alba, Jessica Simpson and
Ashlee Simpson drew the most interest from women seeking hairstyles and
makeup inspiration and ideas, measured by user stats from the celebrity
beauty and hairstyles Web site in May 2005.
Out of more than 300 different celebrity hairstyles available to view and
print, Jessica Alba's long, brown, honey-highlighted 'do was the most
popular among BeautyRiot's over 500,000 July visitors. The "Fantastic Four"
star's hairstyle pictures made up over 10% of the site's total page views.
Jessica Simpson came in at second place, and her sister Ashlee Simpson was
number three. Ashlee Simpson's famous black shag hairstyle, notably, was
the third most visited page on the Web site in July.
"Jessica Alba represents the new non-traditional beauty," said
BeautyRiot.com's editor in chief, Kirsten Lambertsen. "Her appearance as
the number one Beauty Icon signals a trend towards a lower-maintenance,
more nonchalant, self-confident look for women. Angelina Jolie and Eva
Mendes are other examples of this persona."
Among BeautyRiot.com's remaining Beauty Icons, fourth place went to Hilary
Duff making her first appearance on the list, and Nicole Richie also made
her debut coming in fifth. Statistics were gathered from over 500,000 users
and over seven million page views at BeautyRiot.com in July 2005. Visitors
to the site can view over 300 photos and hairstyles of over 75 different
celebrities.
