Stemple, Vice President and General Manager of Novelis Appointed to Pathfinder Board of Directors
Lloyd A. "Buddy" Stemple has been appointed a
member of the Board of Directors of Pathfinder Bancorp, Inc, (NASDAQ: PBHC)
and its subsidiary, Pathfinder Bank, according to Janette Resnick, Chairman
of the Board.
Stemple is the Vice President and General Manager of Novelis Specialty
Products Group (previously Alcan). The Specialty Products Group accounts
for $1.2 billion of annual sales for Novelis and has manufacturing
locations in Oswego, New York, Kingston Ontario Canada and sales offices in
Cleveland, Ohio and Detroit, Michigan.

Stemple has been with Novelis since 1983, holding various managerial
positions in Engineering, Human Resources and Labor Relations, Operations
and Sales and Marketing. Prior to his most recent appointment in October
2004, Stemple was the Works Manager in Oswego.
A resident of Oswego, with his wife Carol and children Stephen and
Kristina, Stemple holds an MBA and Bachelor Science in Industrial
Engineering from West Virginia University, a Diploma from INSEAD in France
and a Masters in International Management from McGill University in
Montreal, Canada.
Pathfinder Bancorp, Inc. is the mid-tier holding company of Pathfinder
Bank, a New York State chartered savings bank headquartered in Oswego, New
York. The bank has seven full-service branch offices located throughout
Oswego County.
