MIT Alum Connects Jocks of the World

WWW.PLAYNOTWATCH.COM is the premier destination for athletes everywhere to post their athletic profiles, join local teams and leagues, and meet other athletes with whom they share a connection; including former teammates and competitors. The site is free of charge for all -- including league, team and pickup game organizers.

Playnotwatch.com went live on July 19, 2005, and was created by Anthony Yannatta, who played basketball professionally in Europe before attending MIT's Sloan School of Management. Anthony has consulted with some of the country's leading private investment firms and professional sports franchises for the past five years. Anthony is a Southern California native who played basketball for UC Santa Cruz and maintains close ties to his alma matter Crossroads High School of Santa Monica.

In less than two weeks, Playnotwatch.com boasts athletes from over 35 states and all major sports; including soccer, basketball, softball, football, hockey, cycling, tennis, golf, cricket, rugby, ultimate frisbee, and swimming. According to founder Anthony Yannatta, "The mission of PlayNotWatch.com is to encourage friendships through sports and competition, promote exercise alternatives to people of all ages, and make all sports and local athletes more accessible to the global community."
