Stock Market Solutions, Inc. (OTC BB: SMKT) Announces Texas Prototypes Was Selected as a Supply Chain Champion Alongside Cisco, EMC, NEC & Sparton
TXP-Texas Prototypes, Inc. Named a Supply & Design Chain Champion by Electronics Supply & Manufacturing Magazine

Texas Prototypes was previously named as a
2004 Supply & Design Chain Champion by Electronics Supply & Manufacturing
magazine. According to Editor-in-Chief Bruce Rayner of Electronics Supply
& Manufacturing, "Texas Prototypes was selected as a 2004 Supply & Design
Chain Champion for its contribution to bridging the gulf between design
engineering and manufacturing. TXP has developed and refined processes
that enable OEMs and contract manufacturers to more cost-effectively manage
the handoff from design to production."
Five companies were selected as 2004 Supply & Design Chain Champions:
Cisco, EMC, NEC, Sparton, and Texas Prototypes. The winners were nominated
by the readers and selected as "champions" by the editors of Electronics
Supply & Manufacturing. "They are labeled champions because they are all
innovators and are out in front of the curve with their supply and design
chain practices," stated Bruce Rayner. "The winners share a few important
attributes. They are not afraid to challenge conventional wisdom, they are
decisive, and they understand that being innovative is a process, not an
end point."
"We are very proud to have been selected for this award as it further
validates our business model and its significance in the supply chain,"
said Michael C. Shores, President & CEO of TXP, who accepted the award.
As the editors of Electronics Supply & Manufacturing noted, "Texas
Prototypes recognized an unfilled need in the design-to-manufacturing
process. They offer a highly valuable, differentiated solution. The TXP
team originated as part of a Design and New Product Introduction center of
a tier one EMS company where they learned what it takes to work with design
engineers to qualify a product. The engineers on the team are electrical
engineers, plus they are also very senior manufacturing process engineers
and have worked in a volume environment so they have practical experience
with what a factory needs. They can readily communicate with the OEM's
engineers. They basically "debug" the processes and help secure supply
chain, then manage the transfer to the manufacturing facility, whether that
of the OEM or an EMS company, anywhere in the world. It is exciting to see
TXP's model recognized with this award."
