Hub International Implements BenefitPoint Aptus to Increase Productivity, Drive Data Standards and Offer Cost Savings to Its Employer Customers

  Share With Friends

BenefitPoint, Inc. today announced that Hub International Limited is adopting its platform to drive data standards and increase process efficiencies in many of its offices nationwide. Hub International anticipates that the product implementation will result in increased savings and services to its employer customers. BenefitPoint Aptus, the preferred employee benefits customer relationship management and procurement product of The Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers, enables collaborative commerce on a shared platform, creating efficiencies for employers, brokers and carriers alike.

Hub International, a leading insurance brokerage in North America, selected Aptus after seeing the productivity gains experienced by its subsidiaries that have successfully implemented the product; including Talbot Insurance and Financial Services. The firm will use Aptus as a secure, common database, enabling consistent capture of employer account and plan information. In launching a nationwide product rollout, Hub can standardize its RFP and renewal workflows on Aptus and will ensure consistent and transparent communications with its carrier customers. By capturing the account, plan and rate data of their participating offices on Aptus, Hub International will realize unforeseen reporting and benchmarking capabilities.

Hub selected Aptus for its flexible, independent technology model, complemented by a structured platform encouraging data and process standardization. Using web services technology, Aptus Connect integrates with a variety of third-party applications, including communications and enrollment vendors, agency management systems and carrier procurement solutions.

"As our organization continues to experience tremendous growth, we find it mandatory to stay on top of the most advanced technology offered to help our employees and clients receive the most efficient and best service possible," said Julie Hege, Hub International Information Technology Project Manager. "We look forward to utilizing BenefitPoint Aptus and the advantages it will bring to Hub."

"Aptus gives brokers and consultants the tools to be more successful, not by prescribing a selling formula, but by giving them a platform to manage information in powerful ways," said Kurt de Grosz, SVP sales and marketing, BenefitPoint. "This means business intelligence for managing revenue goals and vendor relationships. It means benchmarking for plan design consultation. It means integrated client management and procurement for superior quality in customer service. All of this is wrapped with a web services capability that fosters choice for employers by enabling seamless integration with client solutions tailored to customer needs."
