TYLER, Texas (EWORLDWIRE) Jul 11, 2005
Brenda and Kevin Keeney of Lorena, Texas will be the managing owners of PC Kidz of Central Texas, the second company franchise in Texas. The new franchise will continue to serve the Central Texas area, while expanding into the Austin area market by offering computer education classes to preschool and school age children through public and private preschools, as well as through early education programs.
PC Kidz offers a comprehensive curriculum that focuses on establishing computer literacy and technology skills in children between the ages of two - ten years. This innovative approach not only aligns the curriculum with both state and national technology standards, but presents the lessons with the child's developmental abilities in mind.
Brenda Keeney, a PC Kidz instructor and accomplished IT professional, adds, "With the vast, changing technology in our world today it is important that we give each child the tools needed for success. We are committed to building strong relationships with our current centers while expanding our PC Kidz family into a new market." PC Kidz of Central Texas hopes to expand their offering of classes in the Waco, Temple, Killeen and Austin markets while providing local ownership and support.
