N'Genuity, Cargill Sign Food Processing Agreement to Use Bo Jackson Signature Meats & N'Genuity Brands


N'Genuity Enterprises, Inc., a
Native-American, woman-owned business based here, is teaming with Cargill's
meat processing arm to produce and jointly market products for U.S.
government, commercial, retail and foodservice customers.
N'Genuity has signed a production agreement with Wichita, Kan.-based
Cargill Meat Solutions Corporation, which is one of the top beef, pork and
turkey processors in the United States. The product offerings under the
Bo Jackson Signature Meats and N'Genuity brands will include ground beef,
cooked meats, deli meats, portion-controlled steaks and turkey products.
Co-owned by successful entrepreneur Valerie LittleChief and sports legend
Bo Jackson, N'Genuity will work with Cargill Meat Solutions as part of the
U.S. Small Business Administration's (SBA) Mentor-Protege Program.
The purpose of the Mentor-Protege Program is to enhance the capabilities of
developing companies to successfully compete for government contracts and
to assist them in establishing key business processes and strategies that
will eventually enable them to grow the business and operate independently.
N'Genuity has an SBA Small Disadvantaged Business certification and 8(a)
status.

a plan for additional growth in meat processing."

research and development facility in Wichita.
