"The Naughty Show" Debuts on DVD on July 26
NYC Show at Caroline's on Broadway on July 18
"The Naughty Show" is a hot blast of raunchy
chick comedy conceived by award-winning adult film entrepreneur Skye Blue,
director of more than 250 adult films and co-creator of original
programming content for Playgirl TV; movie star/comedienne Lisa Ann Walter;
and New York comedy star Kate Rigg. According to Blue, currently at work
on a pilot for the series "Herotica," "'The Naughty Show'" is a venue for
women to get down and dirty with explicit, sometimes profane stand-up
that's packed with all the naughty things 'good girls' aren't normally
allowed to say. And what better way for bad girls to throw down, than with
no-holds-barred comedy?"
Shot last December at the Ivar Theatre in Hollywood, "The Naughty Show" is
a 90-minute romp through girls' views on sex, plus edgy political rants,
lewd jokes, and outrageous points of view. Says Rigg, "By challenging the
traditional wimpy-assed fear-based reactions to loud-mouthed brassy babes,
'The Naughty Show' shows that not only is it OK for women to speak their
minds; it can be really f*****g funny at the same time."
The trash talkin', star-powered lineup includes:
Lisa Ann Walter: With film roles in "Shall We Dance?," "The Parent Trap,"
"Bruce Almighty" and her own sitcom "Life's Work," Lisa Ann is premiering
her own show on E! in 2005 and is featured in the new Steven Spielberg
film, "War of the Worlds."
Kate Rigg: The creator of the raucous Asian American comedy revue Kate's
Chink-O-Rama featuring the Chink-o-Rama dancers, and lead singer for the
band Slanty Eyed Mama. She recurs as Sally Xiao on "Law & Order," and has
been a featured comic on NBC Late Friday, PBS's Colorvision, SEX TV, FOX's
"Kings of Comedy" pilot, and plays various roles on the animated laugh fest
"Family Guy" on FOX.
Kim Cea: A multi-award winning stand-up (MAC Awards, Bud's Ladies of
Laughter) who dominates the New York scene. A member of the Friar's Club,
Kim was one of the stars of PBS Emmy Award-winning "The News in Revue."
She tours her one-person show "Kim Cea Live" between singing engagements
(Broadway's "Smokey Joe's Cafe," Caesar's Palace, and most recently
"Newsical" at Studio 54, NYC.)
Robin Montague: a regular on BET and Comedy Central with legendary
appearances on "Showtime at the Apollo" and "Comic View" (where she won the
Grandstand), Robin also starred on television's "The Chris Rock Show" and
"In Living Color."
Stella Stolper: A fave at Hollywood's World Famous Laugh Factory, a sellout
at The Riviera Hotel in Vegas, and a veteran of hot live comedy festivals
like The New York Underground Comedy Fest. Stella brings her Brooklyn
Russian Princess roots to her "domestic diva" act and spares no four-letter
words describing her eccentric home life onstage and off.
Shayma Tash: L.A. dirty girl Shayma Tash cleaned up her act to star in the
WB's sketch show "Hype," as well as featured slots on "The Tonight Show,"
FOX's "Cedric The Entertainer Presents," E!'s "Life Lessons," Comedy
Central's "The Sweet Spot," and regular appearances on Fox Sports Net's
"Best Damn Sports Show Period."
Director Skye Blue: Skye is President of Trashmouth Productions and CEO of
Platinum Blue Productions, an adult film company, and has won many awards
as the premier female director in this genre. Current projects include a
much-anticipated autobiography about her career and the development of a
series of female erotica for cable television with Playgirl TV. She is
also collaborating with action sports star/director Todd Seligman on a new
television series about sports and daredevil women.
"The Naughty Show" will be released on DVD on July 26th on Eagle Rock
Entertainment.
