Creativity Flourishes At Artists' Studios And Galleries in Northeast Wash.

The treasures of Northeast Wash. refuse to be confined to any one gallery or artist's studio. Colville Arts Foundation has branched out to encompass the studios and galleries of working artists in Stevens and Ferry Counties. Rare finds, must-sees and discoveries await the visitor to this hidden pocket of the state. The tours are free and open to the public. Converse with the artists directly and share their inspiration. The color brochure and map will guide people to 14 of finest art studios and galleries in Kettle Falls, Colville, Northport, Republic, Chewelah, Orient and Rice. The tour is free and open to the public.

The brochure can be found at Chambers of Commerce in Colville, Deer Park, Kettle Falls, Chewelah and the communities of Liberty Lake, Mead, Pullman, Sprague, Ritzville, Green Acres, Airway Heights, in Wash., and Coeur d'Alene and Sandpoint in Idaho. As well as many other cities and towns in the Inland Northwest.
The self-guided tour brochure is available at over 168 sites in Spokane, Wash. including Spokane's AAA visitor centers, the Museum of Arts and Culture, Marriot Days Inn, Shilo Inn, Felts Field Aviation Executive Lounge, Riverfront Park IMAX Building and Carousel and Ramada Suites. Service stations will also carry the brochure, namely, Conoco - Sunset, Express West - Shell, Hi-Co Village - Baker and the Hi-Co Village in Newport.
North Country Artist Trails' participants all have different opening times and opening dates, and some are open by appointment only - check the brochure and/or web site.
All NCAT participants will be open the last two weekends in July and August, namely, July 29, 30 and 31, and August 26, 27 and 28.
