DigitalPulp Publishing Announces That It Will Publish Author A.J. Alise's Detective Novel, "Crimson Ice," Under The PulpBytes Imprint
PALM SPRINGS, Calif (EWORLDWIRE) Jun 30, 2005
"I'm a passionate reader of mysteries," says A.J. Alise. "While there are many women amateur detectives, we never see a young single mother, especially, one who must care for her own son, as well as her sister's young children while solving the mystery of her disappearance. Frankie, a feisty redhead who has grown up in her glamorous sister's shadow is sure to appeal to readers who love a non-traditional protagonist."
"People who love mysteries, especially women, will enjoy this fast paced story of a young woman's journey into a world of menecing characters and unexpected plot twists," said Genene Miller, CEO of DigitalPulp Publishing.
Alise grew up in rural Penn. and although she now lives in Fort Lee, N.J., she still spends much of her time at her cabin in Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains, where the novel is set. She is a novelist, actor, teacher and playwright. Her plays have been produced in various N.J. theaters. Alise's other writing credits include the video productions "World Hunger Project" and "Looking at Union, New Jersey."
