International Fashion Shows Of Switzerland Presents 2005 Le Fait Award At Greenwich Polo

International Fashion Shows of Switzerland - USA will be presenting the 2005 Greenwich "Le Fait" Award at the Greenwich Polo Clubs - East Coast Open on July 10, sponsored by the Marine Advocacy Council, Inc. (MAC). "Le Fait" Award, meaning "the purpose" in French, is bestowed on national and international designers for contributions to the betterment of society and their ingenuity brought to a new millennium in the Haute Couture community.
A division of the Swiss-based Fashion Travel Tours, International Fashion Shows - Switzerland is known as a logistics solution-tool in the fashion industry for those wishing to attend premiere destinations worldwide. Earlier this year, International Fashion Shows of Switzerland partnered efforts with the Marine Advocacy Council, Inc. (MAC), a non-profit corporation based in Tampa Bay, Fla.; becoming a division of MAC in the United States.
The wedding between water and yachts with beauty and fashion is an innovative and sophisticated correlation. The Marine Advocacy Council, Inc. has designed a network of online referral websites (MLS) for boats and yachts. The MAC Network addresses online Marine Industry issues by integrating leading-edge technologies designed to save consumers time and aggravation by listing only licensed and insured boat brokers or dealers. Standard MAC services and tools are free to the consumer. Revenues generated through referrals support advocacy within the industry, charities, charitable projects and special events in local communities.

This year's "Le Fait" Greenwich Award is on the main agenda of 2005-2006 International Fashion Shows - Global Fantasy Tour. The IFS event series encompasses the only seven-star hotel in the world (Burj-Al-Arab)- Dubai and other events including three-time best hotel in the world - Mauritius Islands, Ecuador, Switzerland, United States and an exclusive charity event for the president of Dominican Republic. "Le Fait" Greenwich features Haute Couture and ready-to-wear encompassing a superb fusion of artistry and inspiration, flair and style that make this venue a "don't miss" for fashion aficionados, high-end buyers and socialites.
Appearing for the first time in Greenwich will be world renowned designer, Lourdes Atencio Libman. Mrs. Libman is most noted for her entrance into the prestigious "100 Year Book" with a magnificently designed wedding dress. She launched the Avant-Elite label that captured an exclusive clientele in 1991. Soon after, Lourdes was bestowed with the honor of designing Aero Mar and Falcon Airlines leisure suits. Miss Universe 2004 wore a Lourdes Libman evening gown the day she won the prestigious crown. Most recently, Mrs. Libman the headlined Gala Night at The Forge in Miami Beach, recorded as part of an International Fashion Shows documentary. Lourdes Libman's magnificent designs awe fashion audiences and dignitaries at events all over the world.
The Award Luncheon begins at noon with beverages, followed by a fashion show at 1:15 p.m. Aficionados, buyers, media and press will have an interactive view and review between 3:00 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. The Greenwich "Le Fait" Award will be presented at a combined ceremony at 5 p.m.
