Robert Gargus Joins Open-Silicon Executive Team

Industry Veteran Appointed as CFO for New-Generation Fabless ASIC Company

Mr. Gargus brings a proven track record of success at the executive management level of several rapidly growing semiconductor companies.

Robert Gargus has demonstrated critical problem-solving skills and the ability to achieve exceptional bottom-line results at several high-technology companies. Most recently he was the CFO at Silicon Image, a semiconductor company specializing in high-speed serial communications technology selling into the Personal Computer, Storage and Consumer Electronics markets. Prior to that he was the President and CEO of Telcom Semiconductor, a semiconductor company specializing in thermal management, mixed-signal and power-management circuits aimed primarily at the cellular and personal computer markets. Additionally, he has held a number of executive positions at Tandem Computers. Mr. Gargus obtained his MBA in Finance and a BS in Accounting from the University of Detroit.
