San Jose's Women's Expo to Benefit the Career Closet
The Women's Expo on July 16-17, 2005 at the San
Jose McEnery Convention Center will benefit the Career Closet of San Jose.
This partnership is a natural fit, "Women helping women," states Jean
Cecil, executive director of the Career Closet.
Thousands of women, aged 25-54, are anticipated to attend the influential
consumer event. The show will hold close to 150 exhibit booths, which
surround a central wine tasting area from Pietra Santa Winery in Hollister,
California and entertain attendees with specialty workshops and
presentations. Scheduled workshops at this time are scrapbooking,
nutrition, hypnosis, bellydancing, elder care and cooking.
The show will kick off on Saturday, July 16, 2005 at 9:00 am with Keynote
Speaker Janice Hoffman, author of "Relationship Rules." Ms. Hoffman comes
directly from the John Gray Mars Venus Institute, where she trains and
facilitates workshops on relationships. A dynamic and passionate speaker
will grace women with great and easy "rules" that help with all
relationships.
"'The Women's Expo' gives attendees the opportunity to explore new ways to
stay healthy, manage business, discover new retail items, deal with family
issues and have 2 days of fun! This is the ultimate 'girls day out,'" says
show producer Kelli Foy-Anderson of The Foy Peninsula Group of Monterey,
California.
This is slated to be an annual San Jose event, with dates of July 15-16,
2006 already confirmed.
The Women's Expo provides businesses with the opportunity to get
face-to-face with thousands of women who want to see, sample, touch and buy
products. Exhibitor's space is now available, but selling out quickly.
