Musicrypt and Nielsen BDS Announce Strategic Alliance

Musicrypt Inc. (TSX-V: MCT) (OTC BB: MCYPF), the
industry's leading developer of user-friendly and secure media
distribution, today announced a strategic relationship with Nielsen
Broadcast Data Systems (Nielsen BDS), the leading supplier of terrestrial,
satellite and digital radio song performance data.
Under the agreement, Musicrypt's secure digital delivery software, DMDS,
will be linked to www.BDSRadio.com, and Nielsen BDS will make Musicrypt's
DMDS available on the BDSRadio.com site throughout the United States and
Canada. Programmers will now be able to access music distributed by DMDS'
secure digital system through BDSRadio.com and will receive access to
BDSRadio.com from the DMDS site.
These new links will enable radio broadcasters that license BDSRadio.com to
easily access DMDS. Users will have the choice to register, preview,
download 30-second snippets or full length music tracks, and receive
related promotional materials through DMDS. The integrated system is fully
portable and can be accessed via the Internet from any computer, allowing
the user to gain entry to their own personal DMDS library and their own
BDSRadio.com profile.
"The opportunity for Nielsen BDS to join forces with Musicrypt with this
expanded alliance adds tremendous value to both BDSRadio and to Musicrypt
clients," says Mark Tindle, Senior Vice President and General Manager, West
Coast Nielsen Music. "We look forward to working closely with DMDS to
continue to develop new offerings integrating our collective information
and services to deliver first-rate solutions for our clients.
In December 2004, Musicrypt entered an exclusive partnership with Billboard
Radio Monitor to market and promote DMDS in America following an extremely
successful year in Canada where Musicrypt's Digital Media Distribution
System (DMDS) is the premier digital music distribution system in the
industry. On March 1, 2005, DMDS was endorsed by Clear Channel Radio,
America's largest radio chain with over 110 million listeners choosing
Clear Channel programming each week, and on March 29, 2005, DMDS was
endorsed by XM Satellite Radio the number one satellite network in America.
"Being connected with BDSRadio.com further enhances the DMDS 'one-stop'
shopping vision. You can now get all of your news and information from the
trusted source of Billboard Radio Monitor and Billboard.com, and the latest
music from DMDS," said Peter Diemer, Vice President, Marketing & Sales,
Musicrypt. "By adding easy and seamless access to the best research tool in
the industry, we are completing the circle for broadcasters and the record
labels to stay in touch with everything they need to know on a daily,
weekly and a minute-by-minute basis with BDSRadio.com."
Musicrypt has now delivered over 1,000 tracks to over 400,000 destinations,
clearly making it the dominant secure digital delivery system in North
America.
Nielsen BDS captures in excess of 100 million song detections annually on
more than 1,400 radio stations in over 130 markets in the U.S. and 22
Canadian markets. Record labels and music programmers rely on Nielsen
Entertainment's BDS for information about radio and video airplay. Nielsen
Entertainment's products such as BDS and SoundScan provide data that
Billboard and Billboard's Radio Monitor magazines use to determine its
airplay and sales charts. Nielsen BDS is a division of Nielsen
Entertainment.
