SIIA Appoints Intacct CEO Robert J. Jurkowski to Its Software Division Board
Intacct Brings Leadership and Innovation in the Software-as-a-Service Sector

Intacct Corporation, the leading provider of
on-demand ERP, today announced the appointment of its CEO and president,
Robert J. Jurkowski, to the Software Division board of The Software &
Information Industry Association (SIIA).
"We are very excited to have Intacct join our Software Board of
Directors -- Intacct is an established leader in the burgeoning
software-as-a-service market, which is expected to reach $10.7 billion in
2009," said David C. Thomas, vice president and general manager, Software
Division, SIIA. "We know our members and programs will benefit from the
expertise Mr. Jurkowski's 20 years of enterprise-software industry
experience brings to the board."
Intacct recently launched revolutionary on-demand platform services for
customizing, integrating and managing the company's suite of Web-native
financial, supply chain, professional services automation and business
analytics software. CustomERP, ConnectERP and ManageERP elevate Intacct's
ERP On Demand suite to a strategic platform for corporate users and
software developers to build industry-specific enterprise solutions with
data, application and business process integration and customization.
Companies no longer require programming resources for their ERP system to
"talk" to external legacy and Web-based applications. When a sales order is
entered, for example, Intacct automatically updates the customer record in
the CRM and the inventory list in the warehouse management system -- even
if those applications are hosted outside Intacct's infrastructure.
Consisting of 19 executives from SIIA's 750-company membership, the SIIA
Software Division Board manages the strategic direction, work and
activities of SIIA software programs. Board members take an active role in
setting the course of the work the Division undertakes on behalf on the
industry.
"SIIA is a well established organization, whose mission of addressing
software and content industry issues provides an excellent forum for
continued dialog on software as a service," said Mr. Jurkowski. "I am
excited to be part of the association leadership, and plan to help drive
pragmatic discussions and solutions with fellow members."
