Robinson Block Company Installs Rocky Mountain Region's Most Advanced Concrete Mixer

New Mixer Strengthens Company's Position As Quality Leader

Robinson Block Company today announced the installation of a new, state-of-the-art counterflow mixer, the most advanced mixer of its kind in the Rocky Mountain region. In addition to the numerous improvements to plant efficiency, the new mixer will provide a method of creating variegated concrete (swirl) block that can be accurately replicated in the future.

"Our ability to create variegated block without the unintended variations traditionally found in this type of product, is going to provide our market with a level of consistency and quality that it simply hasn't seen befor," commented Steve Rash, Vice President and General Manager of Robinson Block Company. "It's gratifying to introduce such a high quality product to this market."

The counterflow, or planetary, mixer, will allow for increased productivity by reducing batching times by 500 percent, while speeding production. In addition, the new machine will allow for smaller batches, less wear and tear and is self-cleaning.
