Shotgun Draw - New Name for Uinta Basin Gas Project

Avalon Energy Corporation (OTC BB: AVLN) reports that effective immediately, its undivided 85% working interest in its 13,189 acre lease in the prolific natural gas producing Uinta Basin, located in the U.S. Rockies, Utah, will now be known as and referred to as the SHOTGUN DRAW PROSPECT.

The name Shotgun Draw was found on Avalon Energy's acreage and it seems appropriate to attach the name to the prospect.

Avalon's prospect borders with other leases owned by EOG Resources Inc. and EnCana Corporation. Bill Barrett Corporation is also nearby.
